Although founded by members of FUNdamentally GOSPEL, the long-term vision of Community Music In Action is to unite numerous local musical groups and businesses with a common purpose, that of providing musical activities to those who, for social or economic reasons, may not otherwise have the opportunity to access such activities.

Hold a concert or other event and donate the proceeds to Community Music In Action. Whether a festival, gala concert, summer prom or busking session, we would love to hear from leaders and members of local musical groups who would like to donate the proceeds from a forthcoming event to Community Music In Action. Get in touch!

The charity relies on its members to make important decisions regarding governance of the organisation and to elect trustees who themselves meet on a regular basis to discuss, plan and evaluate the activity of the charity. Anyone interested in becoming a member or trustee of Community Music In Action should contact the Secretary.

Community Music In Action values the support in kind of local businesses and organisations, whether that be providing a space in which our trustees can meet, donating refreshments to a fundraising event, or helping to raise our profile by providing free promotional material. Simply spreading the word about the charity and its work is appreciated, but please get in touch if you have something more to offer.

Of course, the simplest way to support the work of Community Music In Action is to make a financial donation. You can do so by sending a cheque or CAF voucher to our registered address, or donate online safely and securely by clicking here. Don’t forget to Gift Aid your donation if eligible to do so making it worth an extra 20%.

“It is so cool that Community Music In Action have got together to raise funds for these projects
and it’s great that they do something creative and fun to raise money.”
